A zookeeper has many duties. To start, a zookeeper has to take care of animals. That means that you have to bathe them, play with them, and keep them entertained. Secondly, a zookeeper has to feed the animals. If a zookeeper doesn’t feed an animal, the animal will starve to death. The third thing is a zookeeper has to work for many hours daily. If a zookeeper doesn’t work long enough, then they can get fired because playing with the animals for only an hour won’t really do anything well. A zookeeper has to work a lot, but it pays off!

I will be good at becoming a zookeeper. To start, I always wanted a pet. As a zookeeper, I can train all types of animals. Next, I already take care of my stuffed animals as pets and know when to feed them, play with them, and/or take them to the vet. Secondly, I usually write down a schedule so I can see what time I have to go to class. It’s kind of like me writing a schedule for when to feed an animal, play with an animal, and take them to a vet. Lastly, I know I can take care of an animal because I already know how to take care of myself so I pretty much know how to take care of animals.

Having a pet may be fun, but having a lot of pets will surely be fun! Sometimes I ask my mom or dad to buy me a pet. I’ve always wanted a pet so if I become a zookeeper, I will have many pets. Some of my friends have pets and that makes me jealous in a happy-ish way. Having a pet will make me happy and that is why I want to become a zookeeper.
