Ingredients

  • Thick seaweed sheets
  • ¾ cup of rice
  • ½ avocado
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cucumber
  • Soy sauce (optional)
    Equipment
  • Rice cooker
  • Rice paddle
  • Bamboo mat
  • Pan

Instructions

  1. Cook rice (in a rice cooker) and set it aside.
  2. Beat the eggs until you see bubbles. Pour oil onto a pan and then add the eggs.
  3. When the eggs are fully cooked, cut it into strips along with the cucumber and avocado.
  4. Place one piece of seaweed on the bamboo mat.
  5. Then, using the rice paddle, spread a thin and even layer of rice on the seaweed.
  6. Put two strips of each filling at the edge of the seaweed.
  7. Holding the edge of the bamboo mat, (the edge that has the filling) roll the ingredients
    together tightly.
  8. Finally, using a sharp knife, slice the roll into one centimeter thick sushi pieces.
